The FINANCE Course teaches children about the importance of saving money and planning for their education. Every week children are advised and given the opportunity to deposit between $1-$5 dollars into their individual banks which are self-decorated by each child. In the month of December, students open up their own personal bank accounts and buy themselves savings bonds. Any monies left are given to them, so they can spend towards their holiday shopping.  This learning experience teaches children how to take control of their finances and the importance of saving.
